A ‘horse with a huge heart’, he was acquired by Saudi Equestrian in 2010 and continued to impress when ridden by the stalwart of the Saudi Equestrian team, Kamal Bahamdan. The partnership made its mark right from the start, with a fine performance in the first qualifying round for the FEI World Individual Championship at the WEG. ‘The horse jumped superbly, and delivered a clear round like the fences were 110 cm and not 150cm!’ In the second round of the 2012 Global Champions Tour in Valencia, Cezanne finished a creditable eighth, just 9 seconds off the pace and going clear in the second round.
